An Improved Procedure for Calculating the Heating of the Conductors of Overhead Power Lines
A procedure for calculating the safe currents, the temperature of the conductors of electric networks to prevent overheating, and also the limit values of the meteorological conditions for which, in this case, no ice is formed, based on an improved method for determining the convective heat transfer coefficient for different types of conductors and different wind speeds, are presented.
