Stress-strain state of a freezing layer of clayey soil
The one-dimensional problem of evaluating the stress-strain state of a freezing layer of clayey soil by analytical methods is stated and solved with consideration of its linear deformability and creep. Problems of interaction between a cylinder formed from a freezing clayey soil of unit thickness and a rigid constraining element (ring) and a cylindrical body of finite stiffness (pile) are examined in the elastic statement.
