Cement content in concretes made with aluminous cement
Abstract An equation for calculating the cement content in concretes made with aluminous cement is proposed, based on determining the $ Fe_{2} $$ O_{3} $ content of the concrete, assuming that the proportions of this oxide, as provided by the manufacturing company, throughout the production process are very stable. The values are corrected according to the $ Fe_{2} $$ O_{3} $ content of the aggregates. The Fe content is determined by x-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF).
