Error analysis of deflections of the vertical and undulations from the accuracies of gravity anomalies
Abstract Equations, suitable for machine evaluation, are derived for computing the coefficients to be multiplied by each mean gravity anomaly, world-wide, to obtain the deflections of the vertical and undulations at any given point. These coefficients together with the accuracies of the anomalies are used to compute the standard of the deflections and undulations. Sample computations done with some assumed data gave average world-wide standard errors of 0".6 for the meridian and prime vertical deflections and 4.5 m for the undulations.
