Isolation of radioactive waste in the swedish precambrian bedrock
Summary Safety analyses regarding final disposal of radioactive waste require methods to predict groundwater movements in jointed rocks. This paper summarizes some of the most important results of flow calculations which were undertaken in the Swedish repository safety assessment. It includes several factors that influence the groundwater flow, like temperatures and mechanical deformations.
