Advanced furnace system for coal-fired boilers in Siberia and the maritime region
Tests conducted on two TP-85 boilers at the Irkutsk TÉTs-9 heat and electric power plant show that two technological methods for reduction of NOx emissions, concentric firing and stepwise air feed, can lower the concentration of nitrogen oxides to 300 – 400 mg/$ m^{3} $ during burning of the brown and high-reactivity coals of eastern Siberia.
