The spatial structure(s) of the Belgian housing stock
Abstract This paper presents the spatial structure(s) of the Belgian housing stock and the spatial outcome of socio-economic inequalities at a (sub)regional level and shows the link with the cultural landscape. A selection of housing patterns illustrates the processes that segment the Belgian housing stock today: north–south contrasts, east–west differences, centre–periphery and urban–non-urban dualities.
