Ensuring Electrical Safety in 20 kV Electrical Networks with Low-Resistance Neutral Grounding
Issues of ensuring electrical safety in 20 kV networks with low-resistance neutral grounding are analyzed. The provision of electrical safety in an urban distribution network is considered with regard to the setting of limits for the resistance of the grounding device and the ensuring of permissible levels of touch voltage and fault voltage. The ground circuit resistances and circuit solutions that ensure electrical safety in a network with a resistance- grounded neutral given actuation values for relay protection are considered.
