Infinite Rock Slope Analysis with Hoek–Brown Failure Criterion
Highlights An exact solution of stability measures, satisfying both equilibrium and compatibility, was derived.Stability factor and factor of safety were evaluated for infinite rock slopes with strength governed by the Hoek–Brown criterion.The presence of seepage flow parallel to the slope face was considered.The generalized Hoek–Brown criterion was directly utilized without typical approximations.
