Building Community Capacity: The Role of Community Government
The changing role of local government in many OECD countries is a key factor in urban regeneration work. As city authorities move from being service providers to the enablers of change, this poses new challenges such as the fragmentation of city management, but also new opportunities for partnership building with local communities, “for choice and for voice”.
