Building Condition Monitoring and Assessment
This chapter reviews method of assessment and inspection to gather the condition of the building. There are many different of methods used to evaluate the condition of element or components of the building. In this study, the BCA guideline of PWD were explained and is to be used in this study. The BCA result is then used as dependent variable for the study. Hence the method to be carried out for the study must be studied to fulfil the research objective which is to identify the condition of the building through condition survey. It is important that the outcomes of the assessment will produce consistency of the data collected. The method of research for data collection will be explained in the research methodology chapter.
