    Seismic Response of Piles Under Earthquake Force

    Abstract An analytical solution for the behavior of piles under seismic force is proposed. The method points out the ambiguities as prevalent in practice. It presents an insight into the behavior of pile under soil liquefaction and provides with a useful tool for analysis. Though solution provided is analytical in nature, however, it does not require sophisticated software to be used.
