A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The most accessible nature-like technology for conserving aquatic biological resources through ecological landscape correction of their natural habitat has been developed. This technology enables one to create a network of man-made highly productive biotopes at the reservoir key points located on the main routes of biological runoff and at a safe distance from the water intake system. Such biotopes help to control the behavior of non-anadromous fish, prevent them from approaching the water intake. Thereby, they ensure that the water intake system is protected from fish. Moreover, fish are protected as they do not enter the water intake system.
