A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Hospital Campuses in the Urban Green Frame of Sevastopol
Built after the Great Patriotic War, the hospitals of Sevastopol were designed as architectural, landscaped expressions of the “Victory style”. Their pavilion structure with low-rise buildings and gardens contributing to patients’ rehabilitation is in harmony with the warm climate of the seaside city. This paper is the first to present the archival materials featuring the original design layouts of Sevastopol hospitals and the names of their developers.
