A Time-Dependent Pseudopotential and Valence Fluctuations
Abstract Using Epstein’s formulation of the time-dependent variation theorem we have defined a generalized time-dependent pseudopotential. Correspondingly, time-dependences of operators in the Heisenberg picture, and correlation functions are worked out. We discuss the calculation of the momentum autocorrelation function for electrons in a system exhibiting valence fluctuations.
