Load Carrying Capacity of Prestressed Steel–Concrete Composite Construction
The report is devoted to new structural solutions of steel–reinforced concrete prestressed structures, a description of technical solutions and a comparative analysis with known solutions. The methods of prestressing steel–concrete beams are compared with the widespread methods of prestressing reinforced concrete structures. The articles devoted to the description of the stress–strain state of prestressed steel–concrete beams of composite section are analyzed. The analytical equations for assessing the load carrying capacity of prestressed flexible beams, the results of numerical studies for different types of prestressing and the methods and results of numerical and field experiments are presented. Comparisons of the results of numerical and field experiments in the form of graphs are given. Satisfactory convergence of different methods for assessing the load carrying capacity with experimental data was noted.
