TECHNOLOGICAL AND CONSERVATION ASPECTS VERSUS URBAN APPEARANCE IN A STONE-BUILT ENVIRONMENT: AN EVALUATION APPROACH
An approach for the evaluation of the architectural impact of stone features and the deterioration and conservational interventions on historic buildings is proposed. The approach involves analysis of the geometric and material characteristics of the building material (stone) with a view to provide an evaluation tool (ETC) for the correlation between the stone unit and its built environment.
