The Impact of Vegetative Roof on Heat Energy Demand
The climate crisis is a topic that affects everyone in some way. Therefore, the goal of this time is to look for ways to mitigate it as much as possible. Recently, the question of energy has been added to this, both from an economic point of view and with the availability of energy. Energy consumption is a common problem, both in the home and in the work environment. As the temperature of the areas increases in the summer and decreases in the winter, thus increasing the problem of urban heat islands, the need for energy for heating and cooling also increases. Often this phenomenon is solved by active measures such as air conditioning units and so on. The goal of my work is one of the ways to use passive elements to reduce the need for energy for heating and cooling. One such element is the vegetation roof. Why passive?
