Laser Coating of Engineering Materials for Increased Wear Resistance
Abstract Laser processing was carried out by means of a CW CO2 laser operating up to a maximum power up 1kW. The processing parameters were optimised in order to obtain homogenous and uniform surface layers up to 1 mm thick.
