Research on Small Sewage Treatment Technology
In China, with the rapid development of urbanization and the gradual improvement of industrialization level, people's requirements for living environment and ecological environment are also increasing. Therefore, the development, construction, and operation of small and dispersed sewage treatment facilities are increasingly valued by the state and governments at all levels. This paper investigates and studies the construction and operation of rural sewage treatment facilities in Jilin Province. The results shows that the improved A2O (VFL) process, SBR reactor, and MBR take over about 80% of the total rural sewage treatment facilities in Jilin Province due to their mature design and operation experience, better treatment efficiency, and stable qualified rate of effluent. In addition, this paper focuses on the reactor structure and treatment principle to analyze the improved A2O (Vertical Flow Labyrinth) process and provides the feasibility and superiority of VFL process for rural domestic sewage treatment in cold regions in combination with the evaluation on its effect in practical application in northern cold regions.
