Solar and Wind Energy Will Supply More Than 50% of World Electricity by 2030
Since 1990 all UN agencies and World Renewable Energy Network have been drawing the attention of all those who use fossil fuels that they are creating climate change and global warming. At last some countries are responding to many environmental catastrophes which are regularly occurring throughout the world. However, China in 2017 was proudly predicting in Paris that there will be blue sky in Beijing by 2020, whereas 2% of their electricity generation was from renewable sources. Yet they have more than 100 companies producing PV panels and more than 3000 companies producing solar water heaters whose products are mainly for export and small port is for home consumption. An example is JinKO, a large PV manufacturing company which exported 11.4 GW capacity and is expected in 2019 to sell 15 GW, meanwhile Brazil installed 2.0 GW of PV in 2018 and Dubai is planning to increase its renewable output to 5.0 GW by 2030 when its electricity power generation is 10.0 GW. As for the UK, it currently produces 28.1% of its electricity by renewables.
