Cracking of heavy vacuum gas oils over (HCeY) zeolite-containing, aluminum-pillared montmorillonite and activated kaolinite clays
Abstract Zeolite-containing HCeY catalysts on aluminum-pillared montmorillonites and activated kaolinites with a mesoporous structure have been tested in the cracking of heavy vacuum gas oils. The activities of the zeolite-containing and zeolite-free catalysts have been compared. The highest yields of gasoline and light cycle oil have been obtained on the Al(5.0)NaHMM + HCeY catalyst and the zeolite-free AlHKE kaolinite contact, respectively.
