Torsion tests on textile-reinforced concrete strengthened specimens
Abstract In order to examine the torsion-bearing behaviour of textile-reinforced concrete (TRC), torsion tests for strengthened components were carried out on specimens with round and square cross-sections. This has shown that a remarkable improvement of the load-carrying capacity and the serviceability can be achieved with TRC. The conclusions of the experiments are described on strut-and-tie models.
