Infrared Thermography
Abstract The infrared thermography is a non-destructive technique (NDT) allowing the evaluation of the material surface temperature. It is a non-contact technique, particularly adapted for high yield investigation. The method records the electromagnetic ray in the infrared spectrum, emitted from the external surface. The surface temperature of a material is influenced by the moisture conditions in some cases; this could be detected by IR-thermography.
