Fatigue Delamination in CFRP Composites : Study with Acoustic Emission and Ultrasonic Testing
Abstract Non destructive techniques are useful not only as a quality control but also for the study of fracture mechanism. This is still more effective in the case of composites. For instance, these techniques are needed in the study of the phase of damages growth which very often precedes fracture in such materials. Several examples may be found in the published papers (1) (2) (3).
