Development of Ultrarapid-Hardening Epoxy Mortar for Railway Sleepers
Abstract This study aims to develop epoxy mortar that is quick-setting and of high strength for emergency work on railway sleepers. Polymer mortars using commercial epoxy resin with hardeners were prepared with various epoxy equivalent weights (E.E.W.) and active hydrogen equivalent weights (A.H.E.W.). These mortars were mixed, cured, and tested for compressive and adhesive strength.
