Chloride diffusion coefficient of recycled aggregate concrete under compressive loading
Abstract In this paper, it is aimed to study the effect of compressive loading on the chloride diffusion coefficient of recycled aggregate concrete. A compression loading setup was both designed and fabricated. And chloride diffusion coefficient of recycled aggregate concrete was tested by the rapid chloride ion migration method. It was found that the chloride diffusion coefficient presents a trend of firstly decreasing and then increasing as the compressive stress ratio increases. Chloride diffusion coefficient and compressive stress ratio show a good correlation for recycled aggregate concrete. Regression analysis on test data is made and the empirical formula between compressive stress ratio and chloride diffusion coefficient is put forward to forecast the chloride diffusion coefficient of recycled aggregate concrete under different compressive stress ratios.
