Materials for Facade Glazing
More and more buildings are beginning to be designed using stained glass. The purpose of the study is to select the optimal design of facade glazing to ensure energy efficiency and durability of the building. The work was an analysis of the properties and characteristics of facade glazing, as well as calculations taking into account the climatic conditions of construction, structural, space-planning and architectural solutions of the building. As a result of the analysis of the building envelope market, the advantages and disadvantages of various types of structures were identified, which were analyzed in terms of their impact on the energy efficiency of the building. According to the results of the analysis, rack-and-beam glazing (modular) with a single-chamber double-glazed window using i-glass and filling the inter-glass space with argon is the most energy-efficient.
