Text Mining Method to Analyze the Level of Comments on Hotel Facilities
The urban area sorely needs hotels to accommodate visitors from abroad or members of the local community for a variety of reasons. These days, there are many websites for booking hotels where visitors can leave feedback on the service, including when they feel dissatisfied with the services offered. It is vital to understand the level of public discussion on how to enhance hotel facilities. This study aims to analyze hotel visitors’ comments on architecture using a text mining method of Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA). Words that are processed include swimming pool, floor, and window. The data source for text mining is a collection of unstructured or semi-structured texts. Findings of this research identify the level of comments related to hotel facilities, architecture, city, building, urban planning, and visitor satisfaction.
