Correlations in Heavy Fermions
The need for a theory of heavy Fermions which goes beyond the a pseudo one-electron theories based on the concept of a periodic array of Kondo resonances is pointed out. The solution of the two magnetic impurity problem is expressed in terms of an effective low temperature Hamiltonian. A Fermi-liquid theory of heavy Fermions based on a sum of such pairwise Hamiltonians is discussed.
