Nonlinear Creep Behavior of Normally Consolidated Soft Clay
The nonlinear creep behavior of normally consolidated soft clays is investigated. The study is based on conventional oedometer tests on reconstituted clays, which eliminates the influence of soil structure on creep behavior. Furthermore, a simple nonlinear creep formulation is proposed accounting for the volumetric packing of soil assemblies.
