Abstract The distribution and composition of low-molecular nitrogen-and sulfur-containing compounds were studied in West Siberian Middle and Lower Jurassic oils. It was shown that qualitative composition of low-molecular hetero components is independent of geologic and geochemical conditions of oil occurrence and is typical of West Siberian oils.
