Protection of Low-Voltage Auxiliary Electrical Installations of Power Plants from Faults
Abstract Problems in providing sensitivity and redundancy of protection apparatuses in low-voltage auxiliary electrical installations of power plants are considered. Four variants of the circuit design of the auxiliary panel board are compared with respect to the conditions of effective operation of protection apparatuses and thermal stability and noninflammability of cables. The choice of design conditions and factors affecting the parameters of faults in an auxiliary network rated for 0.4 kV is analyzed.
