Use of the principle of equivalent operating time in assessing the reliability of CCGT equipment
The concept of equivalent operation time (equivalent operating time) is used to determine the frequency of different maintenance procedures and predict the lifetime of gas turbine units. The approach can be extended to all components of a combined-cycle gas turbine unit (CCGT). An equation that can be used in calculating the equivalent operating time of any CCGT component is proposed.
