Introduction to Structural Dynamics
Abstract This document deals with modal analysis under dynamic loading. It is assumed that all masses are concentrated in mass particles and a lumped mass system is used for the simulation of the structure. The solutions are given using the modal analysis method. The free vibration response of a system, the dynamic loadings and the forced vibration of one degree of freedom systems (one mass particle systems), are examined. The same points for multi-degree of freedom systems (multi-mass particle systems).
