Design of the Thermal Insulation Envelope of Energy-Efficient Buildings
The chapter describes the theory of designing the thermal insulation envelope of energyefficient buildings. The procedure of functional analysis of the building connection details is described and presented for three structural assembly connection types (»L«, »T«, »+«). Such theoretical knowledge of structural detailing is essential to eliminate thermal bridges and their negative impacts.
