Stability Behaviour of Cylindrical and Conical Sandwich Shells with Flexible Core
Abstract A higher-order theory for the analysis of cylindrical and conical sandwich shells with flexible core is presented. The governing differential equations are derived on the basis of a three-layer model and solved by numerical integration. The theory is veri.ed by comparison of achieved results to those published in the literature and to finite element computations.
