Forecasting with Learning Curve Models
Abstract In this chapter we discuss the effect of learning on project efficiency and/or productivity. We introduce the concept of learning curves and provide the modeling approaches to forecast project completion time and cost. We use examples from projects characterized with repetitive tasks and where the learning effect is highly visible such as tunneling.
