Structure and properties of semipermeable membranes based on modified cellulose diacetates
Abstract The study focuses on determination of the effect of vapor of water-organic mixtures, used for the modification of powdered cellulose diacetates, on the structure and properties of the resulting polymeric membranes. The experimental setups and investigation techniques are described. The results of the action of modifiers on the polymer swelling ratio; the rheological and optical properties of molding solutions; and the pore, transport, and separation characteristics of the membranes are analyzed.
