Problems of Accounting for External Reinforcement in the Nonlinear Calculation of Normal Cross Sections of Bent Reinforced Concrete Elements
The current codes and methodological documents do not actually take into account the nonlinear operation of a single system consisting of a bent reinforced concrete element and a reinforcement system based on carbon fibers. This is caused by significant difficulties in accounting for changes in the elastic modulus and creep of the adhesive composition of the external reinforcement over time. The article deals with the issues of compliance of the available methods of accounting for physical nonlinearity with experimental data. The analysis of the obtained results is given.
