Exploratory Planning of Urban Livelihood Group – Taking District L of Wuhan, China as an Example
This study corresponds with national basic policy of the people’s livelihood, adds a new path to community planning by the way of people’s livelihood group, analyzes the practical problems existing, such as more magnificent less approachable spaces, more subjected less systematic planning, more projected less quality, more virtual control less realistic implementation, takes equalized layout, integrating construction, characteristic creation as strategies formed under the spatial shift from incremental to subsistent, from separated to composite, from emphasize on facilities to improve quality. Through the empirical study of District L in Wuhan, China, this study explores a special toolbox of “4 levels – 7 categories – 1 characteristics – 2 neighborhoods” for people’s livelihood group based on dynamic and static zoning.
