Use of filterless wave-resisting revetment at the riga hydraulic development
Conclusions 1. Filterless wave-resisting cast-in-place reinforced-concrete revetments are rational and economical structures. At the hydraulic developments where they have been used, the saving amounts to 15–20% of the cost of revetments with inverted filters. 2. Experience with the construction and operation of filterless wave-resisting revetments constructed at the Riga hydraulic development constitutes a further improvement in the filterless type of revetment in the hydraulic engineering practice.
