Binding Agents of Autoclaved Hardening Based on Metallurgical Slags
The article presents a new technology for the manufacture of building products using binding agents of autoclaved hardening based on metallurgical slags. Three compositions of binders are proposed. The first composition based on decaying ferrochrome slag and finely ground nickel slag allows to increase the strength and reduce the cost of the binder in the manufacture of autoclave hardening products (silicate bricks) compared to traditional compositions. The second binder composition, including nickel slag and converter slag as a lime-containing component, was developed to increase the activity of the binder and showed an increase in the strength of the samples after heat treatment. The third composition of the binder, including converter slag and a silica additive, allows to increase the strength of autoclaved concrete products. The presented technology belongs to the construction materials industry and can be used in the manufacture of autoclave products at building factories.
