Use of new antifriction materials in heavily loaded thrust bearings of turbine-generator units
Conclusions The creation and introduction at operating hydrostations of elastic metal-plastic segments completely solved the problem of providing reliable operation of the bearings of units and opened real prospects for creating bearings for superhigh loads — up to 80–100 MN with moderate sizes of the bearings.
