Ultimate Limit State for Bending with or Without Axial Force
The chapter illustrates the calculation methods (design and verification) at ULS of sections subject to bending with and without axial force. The case study is very extensive, both for the number of the strength classes of the concrete, the variety of sections (rectangular, T, circular) and the stress distribution models. The chapter is completed by a series of calculation tools: ULS tables and interaction diagrams.
