Loxodromes in Herringbone Patterns of Two Masonry Domes
Geometry played an instrumental role in the design and construction of brick domes of thirteenth-century domes in Konya, Türkiye. This study models a possible application of practical geometry in the bricklaying of two period domes by analyzing the data from point clouds, existing literature, and survey drawings.
