The article deals with the issue of irrigation of tree plantations under urban conditions, specifics of their cultivation, required irrigation, and regulatory documents defining the irrigation procedures. Various methods of irrigation of urban plantations are evaluated. The designs of modern stationary urban irrigation systems are considered. A detailed description of an automated sprinkler system with autonomous control of the air and water regime of each tree is provided, such system being protected by a Russian Federation patent.
