A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
As noted in previous chapters, the metabolism of an organism or ecosystem operates through a network of connections between the organism’s or ecosystem’s metabolic components. In this chapter, I describe how to construct network models and use them to quantify, track, and simulate the flows through an urban metabolic system.
