Methods of Analysis in the Design of Tall Concrete and Masonry Buildings
Abstract The purpose of an analysis is to check the adequacy of a design, from the points of view of safety and serviceability of the structure, when subjected to specified gravitational and lateral loads. The performance of the structure must be appraised, and checks made on whether stress levels, lateral deflections, stability, dynamic behavior, and the like fall within prescribed limits of established design criteria.
