A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Abstract In a majority of the previous chapter, sound was propagated under free sound field conditions. In this chapter, we are primarily interested in closed spaces, where the area of reflecting surfaces is so large that reflected sound waves predominate the sound waves coming directly from the sound sources. This profoundly changes the sound model of the previous chapter and requires a different study approach.
